Open Question: does this sound like this diet would work?

I have though of a diet and i’m not sure if it will work so i’m asking you.

If you keep a journal on what you eat and the calorie amount you will have an idea of how much you are taking in right. And you have to choose how many calories you would like to eat each day. here’s the catch you can eat over the amount you choose. say if you want to eat 1,000 calories a day and you eat 1,300 so you know that you have to burn 300 calories. and of course i know it’s not healthy to only eat 1,000 calorie but that was just an example. I don’t know if this would work and I have some exercising rules too. work out each day for as long as you need to. but instead of going to the gym do some more mental and physical workouts, do yoga or strength and stretching. and a few tips only eat in the kitchen so that you don’t start eating like crazy. and i have a few healthy low calorie and carb recipes to but they are very long, well they are actually a few from the 5 factor diet. so do you think that this diet would work and please be honest i can take it

Open Question: healthy meals for a teenager with limited cooking skills?

Basically, I want to be able to cook myself healthy-ish, easy, lunch and dinner.

At the moment I am stuck with things like egg and soldiers (haha), vegetable omelletes, vegetable soup, pasta salad.
I know most of them seem vegetarian, but I’m not lol.

Any suggestions for things I could cook, or recipes even?

My cat Winifred of 11 years loves Italian food, especially Lasagna, but I think she is getting tired of my simple recipe with ground beef, has anyone ever used italian sausage?

Hi

My partner works on a building site and works 12-14 hour days. He really wants to loose weight and eat healthy but finds himself eating takeaways continuously. I live in spain but he works there and comes back for 5 days a month at the moment and the rest of the time whilst in england he lives in a hotel. He gets up and goes to work and by the time he gets back he either sleeps or has a takeaway. Anyway he wants to eat at work about 6 but they only have a microwave and a blender at work plus he is on a budget as we are really trying to save this year (isn’t everyone!!). I have suggested wraps and soups and obviously sandwiches but i know wraps are healthier. Does anyone have any ideas of good recipes/meals he can do on the go at work using a blender and microwave or just normal cold meals that will help him to eat better?? Please help!

I want to make homemade oatmeal clusters but I don’t know what else to put in them.
my recipe calls for……
oats
honey
brown sugar
and to make things healthier I wanted to use olive oil to put it all together
I was also thinking raisins too

If you have any other suggestions on what I should add or even take out plz tell me =p
im allergic to peanuts,almonds, walnut and stuff like that so don’t suggest any type of nut
I can eat coconut though =)
